Away from engineering, Călin is drawn to exploration, from the spirit of Roald Amundsen to the imagination of Star Trek. His curiosity has taken him into speleology and cave diving, and today he channels that same sense of discovery into adventure motorcycle riding, always searching for new horizons.

He has designed and directed MBA programmes with Hull and Buckingham Universities, blending academic rigor with practical leadership insights.
